Privacy Policy
LAST UPDATED · 03 MAY 2026
This Privacy Policy describes how Calibre Commodities Pvt Ltd (“Calibre”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects information you submit through this website and the request-for-quotation (RFQ) service.
1. What we collect
- RFQ submissions: name, company, work email, phone number, country, role and the commercial details you provide (incoterm, destination port, required-by date, payment preference, free-text notes).
- Server logs: IP address, user agent, timestamp and the URLs you visit.
- Analytics events: anonymous product views and blog reads, used to improve catalog priorities.
2. How we use it
- To respond to your RFQ — routing it to a named Calibre desk and replying within four working hours.
- To follow up on related commodity supply opportunities, where you have given consent at submission.
- To detect abuse, debug errors, and meet our legal record-keeping obligations.
3. What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade RFQ data to third parties.
- We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
- We do not enrich your details with third-party data brokers.
4. Data sharing
Information you submit may be shared with the partner mill, freight forwarder or pre-shipment inspection agency necessary to fulfil your enquiry — and only the minimum required for that purpose. Cloud infrastructure providers (e.g. AWS) process data on our behalf under standard data-processing terms.
5. Retention
RFQ records are retained for seven years to satisfy commercial and tax record-keeping obligations. Server logs are retained for 90 days. Analytics events are retained for 24 months in aggregate form.
6. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to legal retention obligations. Email sales@calibrecommodities.in with the subject line “Privacy request”.
